Windows installation is slow #1073

Describe the issue
The Windows deployment takes a little over 5 minutes to install on my 6-year-old Windows 11 laptop. The progress bar appears to stall halfway through the installation, but it does finish. The Mac deployment (drag and drop into Applications) takes only 30 seconds on my Mac M1. I don't have a good solution to this, but want to document the issue.
