Request for TDT data support in NWB Guide

Hello,

I use TDT to collect EEG, LFP, and neural spiking data. According to the current ecosystem support table, it appears that TDT files are not supported by NWB Guide.

Per suggestion from the tutorial videos, I am submitting a request for compatibility.

I'd also like to ask for support for TDT data conversion as shown here in NeuroConv's docs. I'm working with researchers who are not too familiar with coding, so it would be great if there was direct support in NWB Guide for this type of data.

I built a script in order to do the conversion manually. I made modifications to the code shown in NeuroConv's docs.

The ecosystem table is missing that entry. I'll fix it.

I tried converting a sample TDT recording, but I get the following error: "Request Failed: list index out of range". Do you have any idea why this might be?

I'll need more information to help troubleshoot. What operating system are you using? Could you please try again but before triggering the error, could you go to the top menu > View > Toggle Developer Tools? Then when the "Request Failed: list index out of range" error occurs, it should also show up in the Developer Tools Console that just opened. Please copy and paste the full error message from there to here. Alternatively, could you share the sample TDT recording that you are trying to using? Then I can try to reproduce and troubleshoot the error on my end. Thanks!

Thanks! That is very useful. Would you be able to share an example data file in this Google drive folder? That would also help with troubleshooting.

Are you using the latest NWB GUIDE v1.0.8? It looks like you are on Windows. Is that correct?

Thanks! I'll investigate this. Please note that adding support in NWB GUIDE might take some time due to our limited bandwidth and because it looks like this might involve changes in upstream packages (like https://github.com/NeuralEnsemble/python-neo) that NWB GUIDE uses to read TDT data. I'll keep you posted here.
