Observed Moment Discrepancy in VolturnUS-S Example #91

While running example_from_yaml.py for VolturnUS-S_example.yaml with the following load case:

  • [11.5, 0, 0, operating, 0, none, 0, 0, 0]

I observed a tower base bending moment of 3.49e12 Nm, which seems physically inconsistent with the expected aerodynamic forcing. Based on preliminary checks, the moment appears to be overestimated by approximately four orders of magnitude (∼10⁴). This discrepancy suggests a potential issue in how the loads are mapped or accumulated — possibly involving incorrect offset handling, double-counting, or misapplication of force-to-moment transformations.

I'd appreciate any insights or validation from others who've worked with this case.
