Merge help? New maintainer needed?

I noticed that there are 4 nice and small pull requests. I guess the maintainer @NBTSolutions is running out of time for this project to merge them.

So, is anybody interested in trying to merge these 4 small pull requests into your forked master? (Trying to help the upstream maintainer or maybe becoming the new maintainer!)

Unfortunately, I am not available as a maintainer. My pull-request is actively being used for four years without any fix or modification, it can be merged with little to no risk - however, the new function lacks documentation (it does what its name indicates).

It's also on npmjs
I've also fixed the issue with 1.8 reported in #27
