Share URL Scan Results via Link and Social Media

Currently, CyberShield users can view URL scan results only within the platform. This feature aims to improve collaboration and awareness by allowing users to easily share scan reports with others through a unique shareable link and social media platforms.

Users should be able to generate a public summary page for a completed scan and instantly share it with friends, colleagues, security teams, or communities.

Hi, I am a GSSoC 2026 contributor and would like to work on this. I'm quite comfortable with this project. Please assign it to me if it's available!

Here's how I'm thinking of approaching this:
I’ll add a backend endpoint to generate unique, obfuscated slugs for scan reports and update the database schema to handle public visibility toggles. On the frontend, I'll build a dedicated summary route that pulls this public data and integrate the Web Share API along with platform-specific share intents for social media.

This includes:

• public shareable report links
• dedicated shared report page
• share report button integration
• clipboard sharing support
