Spack environments for LFRic

I wish to update spack environments on non-MO HPC systems for lfric_apps, and haven't seen this discussed in the docs/here (sorry).

A previous version was based on simit_spack (https://github.com/MetOffice/simit-spack) - this says it is out of date; I need to contact Andrew Coughtrie (@andrewcoughtrie) and ask for access to https://github.com/Metoffice/csc-environments and https://github.com/Metoffice/mo-spack-packages
These are private repos: could I have access? Presumably they have recommended yaml files to run lfric_apps going forwards?

If it's not really ready/supported then let me know and I can bodge something, but I'd rather do it the recommended way

Hi Dave,

The repos aren't fully ready but they doe have stuff that will help you get going (the package.py files and an environment with the versions we are currently using etc.).

However, to have access you will need to be added to the Met Office organisation on GitHub and to the appropriate team withing the Org (reading.ac.uk for you I believe) you will need to have your reading.ac.uk email address as the primary one for your GitHub account to do this I believe. You should contact science partnerships regarding this. In the mean time I will add the reading.ac.uk team to the repos so that when you are added you will be able to access them.

I am a member of the MO org, although I don't know if I'm in the Reading group.
I've emailed scientific_partnerships at the MO, but I guess people are on holiday at this time of year. If anyone from that group reads these threads and can help me get into the correct group, it'd be much appreciated.
