When installing Daemon mk2 from the KDE Store, the assets for the Breeze themes are temporarily replaced until uninstallation.

Huh? Does it do that for other themes? The Breeze desktop theme is stored in /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/default/, so it should not be overwritten.

What happens when you set your desktop theme to Breeze?

Well, prior to uninstalling and reinstalling via git pull, the breeze theme would still be the daemon theme, so widgets would still be stylized like daemon for example.

Well, I don't have control over the way the KDE store installs theme, so I can't do much.
