The one thing that is stopping me from going all in on Snapify is that it's hard to get quick access to record immediately like Loom.
I'm proposing a Browser Extension for the convenience to the user initiating a screen recording within a click from the browser. They will have the opportunity to capture recording without having to visit the Snapify site to record. The finished recordings will be captured seamlessly to their Snapify accounts.
This would greatly improve the onboarding flow and quickness of sharing videos.
Initial Feature Ideas
The Chrome extension could include:
- Browser action button to start/stop recording
- Popup to log into Snapify account
- Options to record tab, microphone, camera (?- depending on those working on it right now)
- Config settings to change video quality, duration
- Direct uploading progress indicator
- Notification on upload complete
