The custom template works perfect and find the cheapest starting time of x cheapest hours.
Is it possible to add an attribute to the sensor, showing the average price of this period?

Other possible attributes could be highest and lowest price in the period

The integration doesn't support any custom templates

This custom template:

I use this to find the cheapest hrs to charge the car. I also have solar panels, so need to evaluate at what price it is more economical to sell excess solar power and then buy electricity for the car at night. Therefor I need to know average price to charge car at night

Okay that one - you might be able to set attributes by creating it in YAML - check official template sensor documentation - not anything to do with this integration though

I have created the template sensor and get the time.
I also know how to create an attribute to the sensor.
My issue is to find the average price for the period, which is where I thought your template could be useful to provide that information.
I believe the template already contain the information, to evaluate which period is the cheaperst.

Det var faktisk væsentlig nemmere end først antaget, da jeg satte mig og læste din kode igennem.
Jeg har lavet en kopi af din .jinja fil som jeg kalder FindCheapestPeriodPrice.jinja
Her har jeg tilføjet en enkelt linje og ændret i output linjen.

Til sidst en template sensor med attributes:
