Hi, I'd like to take this on.

I've been building modular integration frameworks recently — most recently a payment SDK wrapper with provider-agnostic abstractions and pluggable backends. SIEM integration follows the same pattern: a common interface, per-platform adapters, and a forwarding pipeline that normalizes internal events before dispatch.

My approach:

Define a SiemProvider interface covering connect, forwardEvent, and disconnect
Build a SiemIntegrationService that holds the active provider and fans out security events to it
Add per-platform adapters (e.g. Splunk, Elastic) that implement the interface
Configuration via typed config DTOs so providers can be swapped without touching business logic
