MAAP hub server unreachable error

Describe the bug
An error pops up frequently, but randomly. I'm using a custom R workspace for the moment. If I hit Dismiss, everything still seems to run normally.
Server unavailable or unreachable Your server at /user/samuel.grubinger/ is not running. Would you like to restart it?

3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

This happens in the middle of processing. It's not clear if the processes running are stopped or not. But sometimes the memory indicator on the bottom left disappears.
