change models folder on new SM install?

How do I use existing models folder for a new SM installation?

I had ComfyUI on Windows working in my machine. All the models were on a 2nd drive, while the program & OS ran off the 1st drive.
I just installed Ubuntu2604 on same machine, & want to use my ~50 AI files on my 2nd drive again.

But seems the bootup refuses to let me change my models folder/drive.

I did turn off 'portable' & changed the folder, but the SM UI refuses to let me press [Next] because of some settings.json missing in that folder,
