What happens if you have only one structure in the database, and if your submission continues to fail, leads to the increase of total_loops?

I'll check this and I'll get back to you.

It seems that the total_loops < len(sel_struct_db) part could lead to early termination of the loop in case there are some calculations that terminate with errors.
