Question/Feature Request - Global Image Styling?

Is there any way to set a global style for images?

I'm trying to include a bunch of images in but they are a variety of shapes / sizes and I cannot find a way of styling groups of images. The "Pictures" styling requires mapping to a specific image file.

Ideally I would like to have a global style (i.e. leave the Picture File setting blank) so that I can scale all images to a particular height or width.

And / or I would like to be able to set styling for a directory so I can have a "headshots", "portrait", "landscape" directories.

For background, I'm trying to set up a reusable template. Cinecred is already making my life easier but being able to style groups of images would save me so much work.
