Three absorb-demoted findings from plan 2026-07-28-prompt-surface-simplification phase 2 (landed d845fa8), per the residual rule (failed/ineligible absorb demotes to follow-up, never drops):
- D22 extraction-rationale comment (
skills/war/assets/skill-doc-contracts.test.mjs ~L536): says the two reference files "carry both tokens" — each carries only one (remove-publication-worktree in setup.md, ensure-origin in resume-and-recovery.md). Comment-only; the assertion is unaffected. Reword to name the token per file.
- ADR 0008 Consequences attribution: still says the reconciliation pre-flight "lives in
SKILL.md prose" — the discipline now lives in skills/war/references/resume-and-recovery.md (SKILL.md keeps the trigger pointer). Amend the bullet, rest byte-unchanged.
- SKILL.md L~114 Checkpoint pointer: trigger "carries a
gate_failure_class" is narrower than the block it points at (which covers the class-less ⇒ introduced fail-safe). Change to "arrives (with or without a gate_failure_class)".
All three single-clause prose; no test pins the wording. Natural home: any later phase touching these files, or a trailing sweep.
