Adding dummy species into reactions (to track P/L rates) changes results (in KPP 3.3.0)

Some GEOS-Chem users (@ujongebloed, @alli-moon) have reported that adding inert species into reactions have resulted in changing the integration results. See geoschem/geos-chem#3175. We are still trying to determine if this is specific to GEOS-Chem or if it is an issue in KPP.

This may be related to #66.
