The smooth 2D release, and widescreen out to the screen's edge.
With the frame rate raised, the game's 2D pictures now move at the display's rate, where they used to move at the game's own thirty frames a second. Pictures that cross the edge of the screen glide: the lab's course monitor on its way down and up, the word PAUSE, the viewfinder's black frame. In Oak's check the two pictures slide to a stop without steps. The water in the River and the Valley flows smoothly as the view turns.
In widescreen the film counter sits against the screen's own edge, and the R and Z icons slide out to it. The viewfinder's frame opens and closes without a jump.
A graphics driver from before late 2018 now gets a message that names it and says what to install. Before, the port opened a black window and closed without a word. Reported by tiago-a in #21.
The release page has the whole list.
