💡Extension Design Notes

• Casing rules for English are notoriously difficult and complex
• Preserving acronyms (e.g., USA) and brands (e.g., iPhone) adds to the complexity.
• To keep the extension manageable, some compromises have been necessary.
• In general, the objective has been to handle the great majority of examples as expected,
• while minimizing undesirable side effects,
• and providing mechanisms to address most remaining examples (edge cases).
• Lower Case is specifically designed to address edge cases by forcing everything to lower case.
