Issue opened in the flden repo to actually do this formally as tutorials in the package, informal analysis notebooks attached here for intermediate use.

Looking through, unfortunately these saved copies of the analysis are from before we started using logP so these are ... more of a conceptual analysis walkthrough. So there will be a little more adjustments to make than just changing what gets loaded in at the start. Mainly, the calls to fldgen::generate.TP.fullgrids will need to be updated to include arguments
tvarunconvert_fcn = NULL, pvarunconvert_fcn = exp,

Also, adding the built html's of those files; the plots in the rmarkdowns unfortunately depend on gcammaptools in these older files.
Finally, in terms of the EOF analysis, remember that in this approach, the EOFs are basis vectors, and as we all remember from our linear algebra days, if x is a basis vector, then so is -x
