multiple genres

Hi, I love almost everything about this player. The only missing feature is multiple genres. Would it be possible to add them? WaveFlow can extract more artists by using ";" separator in tags, but does not do that with genres. I tried different separators, but my understanding is that this feature is simply not implemented. I think that would require huge changes across the whole database, so I'm guessing it's not something easy to implement, but I would like to know if this is even considered, or I will have to find a different way of managing this problem (either by deciding to use one single genre for each album/song, or use one single tag for mixed genres - for example "rock&folk" or something like that. Thanks for bringing this up! You’re right: WaveFlow currently handles only one genre per track, even when the file contains several. Using ; would just create one combined genre.
Support for multiple genres is already planned for 1.9.0 and tracked in #729. The plan covers reading the tags, editing them, and using all the genres throughout the library. Thanks for the clear example!

wow, that's great it is planned, can't wait to see it in action! I've noticed that when using "\" separator, the first genre tag is read by the Waveform, and the next ones omitted. So I'm guessing keeping them like that would be a good idea - they won't break anything currently, and will work in the future when 1.9.0 comes out!

Oh, and sorry If I should first check the roadmap before starting this idea post. I'm completely new to github (not a programmer) so I didn't find any way to see what's planned already.

Another idea: to open audio files with waveflow directly from the file explorer.
