Use this thread to nominate features or vote on existing ideas. We do read every reply.

How to nominate

Open a new discussion in Ideas (one feature per thread) and include:

• Problem — what user pain does it solve? Concrete scenario beats abstract wish-list.
• Audience — solo inspector? Multi-inspector firm? Realtor / agent? Self-hoster?
• Workaround you use today — helps us judge urgency.
• Optional: rough sketch of the UI or API you imagine.

Then come back here and link your discussion in a reply so other folks can find it.

What we are working on

This thread deliberately no longer carries a list. It used to. That list named a sprint and a month, linked a file that has since been deleted, and stayed pinned long after every line of it stopped being true — which is worse than saying nothing, because a pinned post reads as current.

So the answer lives where it is current by construction:

• Open issues — what is actually queued right now.
• Milestones — what shipped, and what a release contained.
• docs/README.md — the map of the engine's documentation: deploying it, operating it, changing it, integrating it.

What we will not build

We try to keep the engine focused. A few things we have explicitly chosen not to ship:

• A built-in CRM. The engine's job is the inspection and the report that comes out of it. Contact and pipeline management is a different product with a different shape, and good ones already exist.
• Multi-tenant subdomain routing in this edition. Run one deployment per organisation. That boundary is the easiest one to reason about and the hardest one to get subtly wrong.
• First-party iOS/Android apps. The PWA works offline on every modern phone, and one codebase means a fix found in the field can ship the same day.

If you disagree with any of those, that is exactly the kind of feedback we want — open a thread under Ideas and make the case. "We chose not to" is a decision, not a policy.
