A short summary of the scope of other TC's reduces user workload such as: number of clicks, creating / closing new tabs, navigating between tabs - just to see if something is of value. TC's typically don't change their scope, so the displayed overview content should be fairly static. Related alternatives may be to hide the explanation similar to hover/fly-over/"alternate text"?
