Hi,
when I choose the PMIP3 or PMIP4 dataset the uncertainty option is there and this seems to be only an option for climate projections. This could lead to erroneous conclusions, such as the models having similar responses for paleoclimate experiments. An easy way to prove this is with the mid-Holocene experiment, where not all changes in temperature (or precipitation) exceed the variability threshold.
