IBM Z Open Editor provides syntax support for embedded Db2 SQL (EXEC SQL ... END-EXEC), but it does not currently provide first-class support for resolving EXEC SQL INCLUDE DCLGEN members in the same way it supports COBOL COPY statements. It would be great if below support is added
Resolve EXEC SQL INCLUDE members from configured Db2 include libraries.
Hover preview of DCLGEN members.
Go to Definition.
Find References.
Symbol indexing for generated host variables.
Diagnostics when an INCLUDE member cannot be found.
Configuration of DCLGEN search paths (similar to COBOL copybook paths).
Any tentative timelines to incorporate this?
