I attempted to spin up a drupal 8 platform and got this error
Drush 7.2-dev does not support Drupal 8. You will need Drush version 8 or higher. See http://docs.drush.org/en/master/install/ for details.
To fix this, I upgraded drush to version 8.0.0-rc3 in the vm and after that the platform completed successfully. Sites are all spinning up and completing successfully as well.
I saw on https://github.com/GetValkyrie/ansible-role-drush we are waiting for drush 8 to stabilize, so for anyone with the same issue just upgrade drush in the valkyrie vm.
