LaserLlama: character sheet functions — metamagics, mystic techniques, and reaction/bonus-action features produce no cards #28

Description

@Geph

Gaps in what the LaserLlama Alternate classes actually expose as clickable cards on the character sheet. Measured by running collectSheetActions at level 20 against each class imported through the real import path.

Resource definitions and feature-level spend wiring are tracked separately.

1. 35 of 38 Alternate Sorcerer metamagics produce no sheet card (P0)

Only Imbuing Touch, Immutable Will, and Quickened Spell produce anything. Twinned Spell, Subtle Spell, Careful Spell, Empowered Spell, and the rest are invisible, which makes the metamagic system effectively unusable in play. The Alternate Sorcerer shows only 7 base-class cards in total.

2. 30 of 43 Alternate Monk Mystic Techniques produce no card (P0)

Including Stunning Strike, Quivering Palm, Step of the Wind, and Slow Fall. The parent Mystic Techniques feature produces no card either. The Alternate Monk shows only 19 base-class cards.

3. Bonus Action and Reaction features systematically fail to produce cards (P1)

Count of features whose text names an action type but which produce no card:

Class Features naming an action type, no card
Alternate Fighter 18
Alternate Rogue 14
Alternate Ranger 13
Alternate Barbarian 7
Alternate Monk 7
Alternate Sorcerer 7

Base-class cases: Second Wind (Fighter), Cunning Action and Uncanny Dodge (Rogue), Extra Attack.

The pattern points at collectSheetActions not inferring action economy from prose when the feature has no explicit activation. Worth checking against the recent triggered-activation and tab-classification work, which fixed the equivalent gaps for SRD, Kibbles, and Mage Hand Press classes but was not measured against LaserLlama imports.

4. 35 of 41 Alternate Ranger knacks produce no card (P2)

Likely downstream of the Ranger class-resource clobbering bug in the class-resource issue, since 0 of 41 knacks resolve a spend either. Re-measure after that fix before doing separate work here.

Confirmed working, for the record

  • Alternate Fighter is the reference implementation: 83 base plus 97 subclass cards, all 79 exploits clickable with resolved spends.
  • Alternate Rogue is second best: 62 base plus 95 subclass cards, and Cunning Action correctly produces Dash / Disengage / Hide.
  • Ranger's Quarry is a working combat-tab action spending quarry.
  • Subclass card coverage is generally healthy across all six classes (69 to 97 cards each); the gaps above are concentrated in base-class features and the shared option libraries.
