I introduced multi threading in the pointer algorithm in the attempt to get the things faster. But crashes seem increased. I don't know what to do: debugging thread is a difficult task for me in Xcode, given that it doesn't give you any clue about the context of the crashed thread, and I don't know if returning to the main thread could result in a loss of performance...
