Colourful hearts specifically modifies how expanded maximum health and armour are displayed by replacing the vanilla renderer with coloured hearts to represent each layer of health, armour, and absorption, including single-point (half-heart) textures.

Compatibility with this mod would be great as it is incredibly popular with over 800K downloads on Modrinth and over 22 Million downloads on Curseforge.

Okay so they use white textures and color them later on by overlaying this somehow, I'm very lost about how to approach this so I'll ask Vixel to help me out on this, I'll keep you updated.

It is very hard to do that and even tho I did everything I can their textures just don't really work with my modifications so I'm unsure what I'm doing wrong, for now I will not be adding this till a figure it out

That's completely understandable. I wish I could help you on this but frankly I don't possess the knowledge necessary to give you any sound advice on this. I'll ask some more knowledgeable friends of mine to see if they can give you some tips on this.
