During the second sanctuary, Kris got downed, then I went to the part where Susie leaves the party. Getting into an encounter now will feature only downed Kris, who will still be able to act. If they act on a Wicabel, Kris will continuously play the animation for the act. I didn't get to see anything else because I got hit which luckily still gives a game over as it should.
This probably can happen anytime a party member leaves, so needs an encompassing fix/fallback.
