Re: cryptsync working folder #139

Description

@greavette

Hello,

Great application you've created for us to use...thank you for your hard work.

I discovered a problem today that was due to user error but it led me to wondering how cryptsync handles cleanup after encryption and syncing is finished.

I erroneously place some very large virtual machine backup files in a folder which caused my cryptsync to encrypt them and try and sync them for me. The problem I had was that 7zip ran for hours doing the work and it slowed my Server to a crawl. My drive space was also eaten up. Turns out that these large 7zip files created by cryptsync were placed in my users \AppData\Local\Temp folder. I would assume that cryptsync will place the files being encrypted by 7zip in this temp folder as it's working folder.

My question is what's the cleanup process when cryptsync is finished with encrypting a file? Does cryptsync delete the file from this folder or is this where the file is moved to the location based on encrypted location in cryptsync?

I read somewhere that it might be a good idea to put cryptsync and 7zip in the exception list of my Antivirus software...would this \AppData\Local\Temp also need to be excluded?

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.
