The Error Var should be unique to each day, but it is the same for each day...??

This uses estimated daily variogram parameters (sill, range, nugget) and does not use the constant values specified in config file. Error variance changes daily. But the interpolation also changes. previously we set the limit on range to be 100 km but now this goes to 2000 ish km.
