Linux Appimage blank window

Describe the bug
Appimage producing blank window with error: Could not create default EGL display: EGL_BAD_PARAMETER. Aborting...

according to nym this is an upstream issue with Tauri.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Download Appimage
2. Run Appimage
3. See error

Demoman starting

Yes, this is a known issue (I'm also running Linux), caused by Tauri or webkit2gtk.
There's not much I can do about this unfortunately in terms of a permanent fix, but there are some workarounds suggested in this thread
and a possible fix is being worked on here.

Can you try building the app yourself locally? I've heard this problem happens especially with appimages built with GitHub actions (which is how I build DemoMan releases)

I will try, however I'm limited to using distrobox(?) to build it because im on an immutable distro that may throw in more variables if a problem occurs
