Waveform for mac?

Hey, why there's no waveform option for mac? only scope and spectrum analyser. :(
I really need that waveform like in Nulloy player. Would be great to have it in DeadBeef too..

The code of the linux waveform plugin is not made to be very portable. I have looked into porting it to mac at some point, but it was too much work, almost like rewriting the whole thing, so I didn't commit. Other than lack of time - there's no reason.

And about the reason - Many djs will use it :)
It's very useful for pre-listening tracks. When you have to listen to 100-200 tracks and make a selection it's perfect to see the drops and everything of the track because otherwise you have to import them into dj software which is not the best thing to do if you have to delete 100 and choose 10.

There's also a Waveform for the Mac version of Foobar2000 here (it's in its early stages but seems to work reasonably well so far). Since this is already written for MacOS I wonder if it might be easier to adapt this code to a deadbeef plugin for Mac than port the Linux plugin to another OS?
