How to Record a Demo GIF for Twitter

What to show (30–60 sec)

  1. Open YouTube / X feed in browser
  2. Show Clippy appearing in corner
  3. Hover over a post → show 👍/👎 buttons floating
  4. Press 👎 → Clippy animates + "Not interested" auto-clicked on the real post
  5. Open Clippy panel → show category weights updating in real time

Recording tools

  • ScreenToGif (free, Windows) — records a region as .gif
  • ShareX (free) — records mp4, convert to gif with Gifski
  • Recommended resolution: 1280×720, 15fps, max 15MB

Upload

  • Twitter accepts GIF up to 15MB / 60 sec
  • Attach to the tweet in TWEET.md
  • Pin the tweet to your profile
