Why
The dashboard is useful enough to deserve a cleaner install and run story. Right now it still feels partly hand-wired to one environment.
Proposed scope
- tighten README setup steps around config, runtime expectations, and local HTTPS options
- document PM2/Caddy expectations clearly
- make the dashboard easier to bootstrap on a fresh machine
Acceptance criteria
- local setup is reproducible from docs
- required services and config are clearly described
- new-machine setup involves fewer manual source edits
