--stats or --compare function

Add a flag to display general statistics about the parsed PCAP file (e.g. message count (per type), average message size, distribution of message count per peer, etc.)

Also possible would be a --compare flag to compare the statistics of two given PCAP files, e.g. to research if there are significant changes in the message count or peer behavior.
