The primary install instructions use claude skill install ContractorKeith/ai-writing-skill, but the current Claude Code CLI has no skill subcommand. Following the documented path fails before installation.
Why it matters: the first-run path for the repository does not work.
Concrete fix: document the supported installer workflow (for example the canonical npx skills flow used by the skills ecosystem), or make manual installation the primary path. Verify the command in a clean temporary profile.
