Differences in files: one JSON file is empty while its namesake in /json is not

/dictionaries/animal/edgemammals.json is empty while /json/edgemammals.json is not.

I'm not sure why that should be.
I discovered it while testing a recursive walk through /dictionaries to see what I could learn.
