non-steam games don't appear in the games list

I'm trying to use letmereshade on xemu but no non-steam games are appearing in the list (only the ones that are installed games from the steam store appear).

Yeah, the public build is from the original repo. I have a release that fixes a few other things ready to release, but that will for the time being only be a build you can downlaod from the Releases pages from Steam.

I have been a bit busy with other stuff the last few months, but I've been planning to get around to continue developing here soon.

However I have successfully used LetMeReshade with games added to Steam through Heroic, like for example The Witcher 3, running in Gamescope on Bazzite.

Will look into it though. If you have a few more details, that'd be great, like how the games were added to Steam for example.

Totally understandable. The way I added my non-steam games is via. the desktop Steam interface, the traditional +Add a Game route from the lower-left hand corner of the Desktop app.

@joe-aquiare gave it a go just now, you can try installing a dev-build which adds another menu for non-steam games: test-build

I will merge it and release it as an official github release, but I first want to figure a good pipeline to publish to the decky loader store, so in the meantime I hope the build above suffice.

Nice. To test the build, you can download the zip from the link above, and install directly in Decky Loader. Let me know if there are any issues.

So far, I haven’t been able to get non-Steam games to appear in the list. I have RetroArch installed on my Steam Deck. I installed it through Flatpak, but I haven’t noticed any changes.

Yeah, this fix is not a release candidate yet, was waiting for confirmation here before merging.

Regarding RetroArch/appimages: ReShade/LetMeReShade is mainly intended for Windows .exe files running through Proton, not native Linux AppImages like RetroArch.
