Use the middle dot as a syllable separator in the transliteration?  #5

Description

@DavidHaslam

A middle dot would be visually less obtrusive than the existing hyphen, yet would still provide adequate visual (& scriptable) separation between syllables in each transliterated word.

A further benefit would be that it would facilitate having a proper distinction in the transliteration between hyphens from hyphenated Cherokee words and the different character that would function as a syllable separator.

cf. There are 512 hyphens in the Cherokee text. Currently, these have all become double hyphens in the transliteration.

Using a middle dot as the syllable separator would obviate the need to have an extra separator just before each proper hyphen.

e.g. Instead of I-si-li--di-ka-ne-tse-hi one would have I·si·li-di·ka·ne·tse·hi
