Hello,

I’ve been reading your paper, EM-stellar: benchmarking deep learning for electron microscopy image segmentation, and noticed that you mentioned extracting 24 random patches for training, testing, and validation. The paper suggests that these patches should be available on GitHub, but I haven’t been able to locate them in your repository.

Could you please clarify where I can find or download these 24 random patches? If they are not currently available, I would appreciate any guidance on how to obtain them or if there are any plans to upload them in the future.

Dear Manca, thanks for your email. The ground truths are available on the github repo. If you need the actual patches, I am cc’ing my former student in case he is on this email, otherwise I’ll let you know if I can reach him. The patches are just randomly selected after dividing the ground truth image into square sub-windows and then randomly selecting from them.
