Bound rendering of historical oversized peer job records #46

Description

@CBEPX

Summary

Bound purpose-specific rendering of historical oversized peer job and workflow records without rewriting durable history.

Evidence

Compact receipts prevent new amplification, but old stored jobs and workflows can still make status or result output approach one MiB.

Desired outcome

Historical records render within explicit output bounds while exact workflow results remain intentionally retrievable.

Acceptance criteria

  • Apply bounded purpose-specific rendering to historical oversized records.
  • Include explicit truncation metadata when output is shortened.
  • Preserve durable history unchanged.
  • Keep exact workflow result retrievable through an intentional read path.
  • Add focused rendering and compatibility regressions for oversized historical records.

Severity/release disposition

Medium operability and context-amplification risk; backlog follow-up after compact receipts.

Provenance

Confirmed by the v1.7.4 reliability audit of historical peer job and workflow rendering.
