With the next release that goes out, we are planning to release a similar tab to this out of the box - https://github.com/Glimpse/Glimpse/blob/master/source/Glimpse.AspNet/Tab/Cache.cs. If we had realised that this was here, we would have been in contact a lot sooner and seen if you interested in bringing this into core. So for missing that, I do apologise.
Any chance you want to take a look at what we have and get involved? We have more planned for that tab if you are interested in helping out and getting involved.
