Unify config interface and smart home interface

With the integration of the smart home interface, additional similar code was often added at first. Now, as much as possible should be standardized/merged.

The issue should provide space for discussion on this topic.

Since this is a very generic high-level issue. Do you have a list of things left to do in this context? Seems to me that we (= you :-)) did a lot of unification already.

The rough schedule is as follows:

• Create definitions for all data fields (Done by 218, 222):
  Reusable structured data sets enable more information to be provided, better documentation to be generated, etc.

• Low-hanging fruit (Done by 223, 225):
  Imports, constants, logging, etc.

• Shared code for the scripts (Done by 228):
  Better maintainability through reusable code

• Merge the data vector codes (in Progress, 226, 229)
  Provide the same function for all data vectors and reduce duplicated code

• Reintroduce data field of version v0.3.14 (ToDo, next issue):
  Better backward compatibility

After that, I think I'll be done for now and ready for a new release.
