This Limited Time Mode (experimental and to be tested) would feature a point based system that counts benchmarks that occur ingame and adds those up to a point total. The formatting would be more Deathmatch styled than stock based.
Examples of benchmarks:
Kills (high point gain)
Damage (lower point gain)
Deaths (point loss)
Quick succession kills (exponential point gain)
Points mode could even be combined with Teams or other modes like Party Games to give variety to the modes players are able to select from.
A big issue and limiter that original SSM versions have is lack of modes, there's so much potential for things like this and items mode.
