From 0bdac3244d8d2aa708fcfb934ccdd9f71f61b933 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Speculator55005 <50082482+fas89@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Tue, 27 Oct 2026 11:09:10 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] docs: the landing page claimed CLI 0.18.1, six releases back MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit `docs/README.md` opened with "This site documents CLI `0.18.1`" — the first version statement a visitor reads, and it has been wrong since 0.19.0. The drift gate does not catch it: `check_cli_docs.py` recognises a "baseline claim" (docs/cli/README.md) and a "CLI release bullet" (docs/providers, docs/vision, the root README), but not this sentence shape, so it passed at exit 0 with the claim stale. Worth a pattern in the gate; noted rather than done here. The root README's `fluid --help` group table was also pinned to 0.18.1. Bumped only after checking it against the published 0.24.0 command by command: all six groups and every command match — Core Workflow (init, forge, validate, plan, apply), Generate (4), Integrations (publish, market, import, mcp), Quality & Governance (policy-check, test), Safety & Supply Chain (rollback, verify-signature), Utilities (config, ai, split, auth, doctor, providers, exporters, version). The other 0.18.1 mentions are left alone on purpose: the release-notes links are historical, and the note about why getting-started uses `fluid.starter` rather than `fluid init --quickstart` records what was observed on 0.18.1 — re-pinning that to 0.24.0 would assert a behaviour nobody re-checked. --- README.md | 2 +- docs/README.md | 2 +- 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/README.md b/README.md index 66a9134..d529cb8 100644 --- a/README.md +++ b/README.md @@ -62,7 +62,7 @@ fluid generate transformation customer_orders.fluid.yaml -o ./dbt_customer_order ## Promoted Command Groups -These are the groups `fluid --help` prints on `0.18.1`: +These are the groups `fluid --help` prints on `0.24.0`: | Group | Commands | | --- | --- | diff --git a/docs/README.md b/docs/README.md index 645bf03..c198bae 100644 --- a/docs/README.md +++ b/docs/README.md @@ -62,7 +62,7 @@ Hello from the my-first-product data product,2026-10-05 10:35:49.479853+02 [Getting Started](./getting-started/README.md) walks through each step with its output, then makes the product read a CSV and adds a data-quality rule.
