BSA/SBSA coverage is primarily focused on bare-metal and UEFI. Linux support exists only for a small set of tests where the required information isn’t available via UEFI services/APIs but is available on Linux.

For B_MEM_02, we initially had a UEFI-based test that tried to pick an unpopulated address from the UEFI memory map. However, the UEFI memory map typically lists only ranges the firmware knows about, so it doesn’t reliably identify truly unpopulated address space per the specification across all systems. Hence, B_MEM_02 is supported only in bare-metal, where partners can provide a known unpopulated address for their platform.
