Timeseries are currently problematic since neither `iris` not `mule` can work with them. It would still be good to have a way to convert a restart file with timeseries (or any file having timeseries in it) to NetCDF. Best thing at this stage, would probably be to isolate the timeseries and produce a NetCDF file only with timeseries. [um_timeseries](https://github.com/ACCESS-NRI/umfile_utils/blob/original/src/um_timeseries.py) can be a good starting point for this.
