Data are being downloaded using getData.sh via getData.queue in /g/data/av17/admin/staging/cryosphere-data-pool/elevation_geometry/rema/v2

Temporary Availability

This dataset has been added on branch lb/260331_new_datasets. Data are temporarily available using this branch and will be made available on main once the dataset is migrated from a temporary staging area (accessible on av17) to the public space on av17. These data are currently staged here: /g/data/av17/admin/staging/cryosphere-data-pool/elevation_geometry/rema/v2

This dataset is now available and includes the following resolutions:

• 1 km
• 500 m
• 100 m

These resolutions can be accessed using the following commands:

catalog.load_dataset('rema', version = 'v2', resolution = '1000m')
catalog.load_dataset('rema', version = 'v2', resolution = '500m')
catalog.load_dataset('rema', version = 'v2', resolution = '100m')

This loads all available variables, including the raw and filled files, for the given resolution.

Current Limitation

Please note, when loading 500 m or 100 m resolution datasets, it is recommended to use an ARE session with 128 GB memory to prevent issues.
